Josh Pape started Fortis Fathers after finding that improving his own personal fitness improved several other areas of his life.
In his 20s, Josh refused to go on walks or bike rides with his wife. He ate and drank in excess with health and fitness nowhere on his priorities.
In his 30s, Josh began making mediocre attempts at improving his health with occasional cardio but no focus on nutrition. He was fat, lethargic and headed for total decay in his health.
At 38, Josh decided to take responsibility for his fitness. In early 2023 Josh spent 6-months being disciplined and focused on strength training and nutrition. During this time he lost nearly 35 pounds of fat and went from nearly 30% body fat to 10%.
Now, Josh's desire is to help other Dads, who don't think they have the time, knowledge or resources, take responsibility for their physical fitness!
Josh is not a certified personal trainer or nutrition coach...yet. He has begun the certification process as a Personal Trainer and Sports Nutrition Coach through an accredited program with the National Council on Strength & Fitness.
